A tenacious Crystal Palace withstood a predominant second-half show from Everton to move into the main six of the Premier League with a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park.
Scott Dann opened the scoring for the away side in the 76th moment on Monday night, Palace having opposed various Everton assaults after the break, with Romelu Lukaku hitting the woodwork either side of the interim for the hosts.
The Belgium striker did in the long run get on the scoresheet, tapping in Gerard Deulofeu's reduction only five minutes after the away side led the pack yet it was a disappointing night for Everton.
The sides were even all through the opening 45 minutes yet it was restricted activity after the break, with the Palace barrier some way or another withstanding mounting Everton weight before Dann broke the stop from a corner.
